This Refund Policy applies to software engineering engagements between Golden Cats LLC ("Golden Cats") and its clients.
1. Milestone-Based Billing
Engagements are billed according to milestones defined in the applicable Statement of Work. Fees for completed and accepted milestones are non-refundable.
2. Deposits
Initial deposits secure your place in our engineering schedule and cover discovery and system-design work. Deposits are non-refundable once discovery work has begun.
3. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client cancels an engagement before any discovery or engineering work has started, any deposit paid will be refunded in full within 14 business days.
4. Cancellation Mid-Project
If a client cancels after work has begun, fees for milestones already completed are non-refundable. Any prepaid amount for work not yet started will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
5. Disputed Work
If a client believes delivered work does not meet the agreed specification, they should notify us within 14 days of delivery. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue before any refund is considered.
